Kai is unable to pull Jarili away from the wall. ((Thus starts the second turn of Iago's detect magic.))

Kai will place his blade flat against the wall and attempt to slide it down the wall between Jarili and the stone.

Kai places the sword against the wall and moves it down, wiggling it behind the still frozen Jarili. As the sword reaches behind Jarili's back Kai feels an unusual resistance. Forcing the sword through it, a muffled wail can be heard ((only by Kai)) which sounds exactly like when a spectre was hurt during the previous fight. The resistance pulls away and Jarili's eyes clear, although he is still extremely pale.

Kai guides Jarili to the center of the hall. And barks orders in a terse voice.

"Stay away from the walls and keep your eyes open! I think that spectre is back and is using the walls, possibly even the floor and ceiling, to mask its attacks!"

Kai holds himself ready, waiting for the spectre to approach again.

Yuki readies her Chill Touch, paying particular mind to the portion of the floor her and Rathnaya are standing on.

"Who has that damn stone?" Iago asks, breaking his concentration to ready an Eldritch Blast.

((Kai has the stone. The stone is called a "Spectre's Heart" and the bearer is immune to the draining touch of a spectre.))

((I will need placements for each person.))

Kai is by Jarili, hand still on his shoulder from moving him away from the wall.

Iago is at the front of the party due to having been scanning for magic.

Yuki and Rathnaya are in the center of the party, away from the walls.

The party, staying away from the walls, waits...

Ten seconds go by, then twenty, then a minute. Nothing happens.

"Right, well... I'm going to get back to analyzing those magical auras," Iago says, turning back to the corridor. "Maybe dispel them after I'm done."

The party continues to watch, on edge, for anything out of the ordinary to happen, but nothing does.

((Iago, check your personal thread.))

(Iago will use the targeted Dispel Magic he has access to via the Tenacious Dispelling invocation, which hits something with Dispel Magic twice, if no one decides he wants to brave the danger.)

Iago releases his Relentless Dispelling. A few seconds later Iago feels shock as invisible bolts hit him, driving him to his knees. As he recovers from the unexpected blow Iago again feels more bolts hit home, pushing him to the ground.

((Iago takes 30 damage.))

"I'm ok, though I could use some healing. I think we'll have to wait for Kai to disable these traps if we want to continue, though."

Iago will scan again to see if anything got dispelled.
