Krod sees more orcs rush at Kai and Korwin. As Korwin is pushed back Krod sees an opening on his orc and with a flick of the wrist sends the spiked chain flying towards the bull-rushing orc.

Glaring back at Silar Krod brings his right hand to his left shoulder and, extending it forward in a quick movement sends the spiked chain flying towards Silar as he stands.

Krod slowly widens in a tight grin as his spiked chain strikes true and rips flesh and muscle from Silar's body. Slightly surprised he still is able to move away Krod begins to follow Silar. Shielding his eyes from the glaring light, Krod grunts with supriseat the huge dragon standing where Silar was. Hesitating only momentarily Krod moves to attack ((5' step to D3)) Krod whips his chain up over his head, then sends it flying towards the dragon with renewed determination in his veins.

Attack:'d20' : 13 + 16 = 29
Damage: 'd6' : 4, 5 + 15 = 24

“I will give you a taste of what I have in store for you, killer of Basar.”

As Silar finishes those words his body starts to protrude a lurid green glow. It seems to come from what you notice now are scaly parts in his skin. The light grows brighter and brighter until it surrounds the party. While the party can still see, Silar is completely gone from view, obscured by the light. Finally the glow reaches its height and pulses there for split second before receding at the same pace. The glow settles around a figure of huge size, black in scale with magnificent wings upon it’s back. The party members realize what the horror is that before them.

A black dragon is before them.

Krod, seeing a new foe in the place of the old one, calmly steps forward and whacks it with his chain. The dragon glares silently at Krod for a second, seeming to shrug off most of the blow.

KORWIN

Seeing Silar transform into a huge, scaly beast with wings, Korwin realizes he's probably going to die, and quickly. Hoping against hope that Kai steps in front of him again, Korwin hopes for a some small measure of shielding from the frightful presence of the creature.

I don't think I can damage that thing at all, so maybe I'll have a chance to take out one of these orcs before I die.

Will Save: 13 + 7 - 2 = 18

Korwin begins to shake with fear in the presence of this huge beast.

That cinches it, the Gods hate me today....

Kai shakes his head at the streak of bad luck that has been occurring today and disappears from sight, reappearing in I3. He then moves ten feet to I5, attempting to be as quiet as possible to avoid attracting attention, hoping that the sounds of combat will cover his movement.

Move Silently (1d20+(14-2)=29)

I'm sure that I'm going to regret this. Now, if Krod can just stay over there and keep this thing's attention...

Activating the belt, the orc next to Kai takes a whack at him while he is distracted, but misses.

Disappearing from sight, Kai reappears not too far away, nearer to the dragon. Moving further to flank it, the party is surprised that the dragon didn’t take the opportunity to attack him.

The dwarf whoops in glee and takes two pot shots at the dragon, both which miss, while exclaiming, “We have him now boys! Don’t stop! He is only going to try and run!”

The orcs, meanwhile, seem unaffected by the dragon’s presence. The fallen orcs all jump to their feet ((Krod AOO against O1 and O2 please)), while the still standing orcs move closer to attack ((Krod gets AOO against O3 and O8)). The two fallen orcs further to the south who just stood up regroup together to discuss what to do. ((I will post the orcs attacks after I see which ones Krod leaves alive))

The dragon looks around at the crushed foliage underneath it and jumps into the air, using its claws to climb the trees. ((It reaches 20 feet up the trees before the end of its movement. Korwin, since you go at the same time as the dragon, you can make an action against him. Kai I need an AOO against the dragon.))
