Kai will move forward again, making every effort to be quiet, and remain unseen.

(Don't have the character with me at the moment so I can't roll)

KAI

Kai will search for whether or not there are any clear paths. He will also vary his steps to see if it is possible to step lightly enough to avoid cracking the bones.

Search (1d20+9) = 10+9 = 19
Move Silently (1d20+15) = 20+15+10 = 45

Silently Kai moves forward. Now that he knows what to "look" for, he can tell that underneath the growth, more bones reside. Many more bones.

KAI

Kai will keep a lookout for anything that may serve as a guardian as he continues to move forward. He will also start trying to remain unseen now that he is moving slower.

Hide (1d20+16) = (15+16) = 31
Listen (1d20+6) = (13+6) = 19
Search (1d20+9) = (9+9) = 18
Spot (1d20+7) = (6+7) = 13

Kai continues to feel the bones of the dead undeaneath his feet as he moves around. ((Is the rest of the party moving with him or staying back?)) Eventually Kai finds a piece of ground that is not covered by the jungle, but resembles cut cobblestone laid into the ground, although not fully intact anymore.

((Jarili Is hanging back a bit, so as not to make alot of noise or attract unwanted attention.))

With utmost caution, Kai sneaks forward, examining the path for traps... or ambushes. If he finds none, he will again head forward to scout.

((I am going to assume the remainder of the party stays back.))

During his searching Kai finds a large stone slab, out of place with the remainder of the jungle.

KAI

Kai will check around the stone slab, trying to determine whether or not it is an entrance to a complex.

Search (1d20+9) = 17+9 = 26
Wisdom (1d20+1) = 19+1 = 20

Kai finds a release latch cleverly hidden as a root in the dirt next to the stone slab.

Kai thinks this feels very familiar.

KAI

Kai will check the latch for traps (let me know if you want another search check) and then wait for the group to catch up.

((The previous search is good enough))

Kai finds no traps on the latch.

The remainder of the group is stationary at the outskirts of the boneyard.

KAI

Kai will return to the group.

"There is what appears to be an underground entrance up ahead. Its going to be a noisy trip though. The ground is littered with bones. Try to step lightly."

With that, Kai turns and heads back to the entrance, being careful to retrace his steps in an effort to avoid stepping on and cracking the bones.

Iago has no need to try and avoid stepping on things, though the branches are a bit annoying.

"Alright, I'm up for it. Want me close to the front I won't set off any pressure plate or tripwires, and can see magical traps to boot."

Jarili sighs, "This is not a good idea" he says under his breath as he tentativly takes a few steps forward.

The bones crack under Jarili's heavy feet.

Jarili winces with each step. "I knew this'd be a bad idea." he says to himself. After a few steps he stops and looks up at his new companions.

KAI

Kai sighs quietly to himself.

"If anything is going to hear the crunching of bones, it has likely already done so. Just hurry over here."

Jarili

Jarili looks around, a bit sheepishly. "I suppose yer right." He says and marches on towards Kai.
